Okay, so first off.
Today I got pierced; the piercing that I'd seriously fucking wanted since highschool. I've watched way too many friends and acquaintances GET this simple fucking piercing that I WANTED and could only sit there in envy.
MY TURN, BITCHES.

My piercer was a sweet lady named Dee, the woman who has done Pinky's labret and his eyebrow. She comes HIGHLY recommended by him. I for one love her to pieces. She's a seriously sweet woman, and I love all the eyebrow rings she's rocking. Her eyebrows are practically encrusted in metal. She also has a spade inked onto her temple, which I liked. XD
She as all gentle-voiced and whatnot as she laid me down on the tably thing and pierced me. Practically mothered, in a way. XD I think she was a little bit surprised, though I'm not sure why. Maybe because I kept insisting I felt okay or something, I don't know. It really WAS okay, though. It hurt, but it didn't hurt a LOT, not necessarily. I don't know; I've been in worse pain before. XD That said, the needle hurt more when it popped out of the other end of the piercing, not when it went in. When it went in I was like, "Is that it?" and THEN it popped through the other side and I was like, "Oh! Okay." XD
Not too sure if I would've been allowed to watch as the piercing was being done, instead I just watched Adam as he stared at my fucking belly. XD I did tilt my head up to look at the taper jutting out of my gut, though. XD I also stared at the awesome new metal object inhabiting my flesh as Dee cleaned off the wee bit of blood, all the while asking if I was squimish, to which I just kept staring at the entry point and shrugging with a, "Not really." It wasn't like there was all that much blood, anyway.
I've been advised to keep the tiny bit of cotton where it's at until tomorrow, however, so there it will stay. I'll take BETTER pictures of the piercing sans cotton tomorrow, I think. Provided that the charlie horse I ended up getting on Saturday night gets a bit better, I can probably hobble around town looking for some face paint. Because I will need some if I'm planning on doing what I think I'm doing for Halloween. I at least just need white. I have two black liquid liners and some red cream makeup already, so... WELL I'LL SAY NO MORE ON THAT.
In parting, yesterday I finally uploaded my poetry and my short stories to my
FictionPress.Com account, finally. 27 pieces in all. I also have one or two essays from college that, believe it or not, I think could possibly be posted on there, as well. I haven't really decided just yet. I'm going to sleep on it. Not right NOW, obviously, but... oh whatever.
